Almost everyone I have met at PFC events came from a religious home. We rationally rejected the belief system of our families. It does happen. We can have hope that it will happen to more people.

I want to see it happen with political belief systems, too. Christian nationalists combine politics and religion into a scary belief system that they want to impose on the rest of us. We aren't going to change their minds, but we can isolate them politically and legally if we find allies to work with us.

PFC does not proselitize. We do offer a place for curious people to learn about other ways of thinking and that it is possible to reject myths and misinformation. It is also a place where like-minded can grow intellectually and make a difference.
