The Carnegie Mellon University Humanist League presents

Carl Sagan Fest 2022

Prof. David Sloan Wilson "Evolving a World that Works for All: Fulfilling the Spirit of Humanism in the Internet Age"

Wednesday, November 2nd, 5pm

McConomy Hall in Cohon University Center, CMU

5032 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

The CMU Humanist League cordially invites you to our Nov. 2 Carl Sagan Fest, one of Pittsburgh's most inspiring annual events. This year, we honor David Sloan Wilson, the brilliant evolutionary biologist who helped establish that evolution churns away on multiple levels to build ever-more-cooperative beings. His work is an eloquent counterpoint to the selfish gene theory of (previous Sagan Award winner) Richard Dawkins and the event promises to be fascinating. Besides, there’s free apple pie for all!
