Pittsburgh Freethought Community is a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Hate, along with the Anti-Defamation League of Philadelphia. As a member of the Coalition, all PFC's members and friends are invited to these two special events.
This Sunday at 7:15 PM, Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine will be presented with the Courage Award. Dr. Levine has a long history of standing up against hate and for protection of the health of Pennsylvanians. Immediately following the presentation is the annual ADL In Concert Against Hate. Heroes from all over the country will be honored for their extraordinary courage and compassion in standing up to all forms of injustice, extremism and hate. Performing will be many talented musicians and actors, including Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Kenny Loggins, Andra Day, George Takei, and Bob Costas.
