Planned Parenthood Volunteer Training Session

The activism committee is excited to announce a volunteering partnership with our local Planned Parenthood! With reproductive health under attack across the country, it is more important than ever to support local organizations fighting to provide health care to everyone who needs it. Attacks by obtuse anti-abortionists outside clinics are on the rise, and we plan on doing our part to combat this by volunteering as escorts, helping women get safely from the sidewalk to the clinic. 

Interested in being part of the PFC Planned Parenthood Volunteer team? There are two easy steps. Go to this link -  https://doodle.com/poll/ucqkpewqub2uz7r8 - and mark 1.) that you are available for a two hour volunteer training from 10 am to 12 pm on Jan. 25th and 2.) your availability for other Saturday mornings in coming months.  

Please read the information on the poll carefully and let me know if you have any questions. After completing the training, you are free to volunteer on your own as often as you want, but we would like to go as a coordinated PFC group at least once a month for the entire year!
